After completing his post-doctoral fellowship at Boston University, Dr. Biju Kumar began
working as an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas. He currently serves as the Manager
for the PDC project in the ReedHycalog business unit of NOV. Dr. Kumar is an expert in
polycrystalline diamond compact and its failure mechanisms. He is also expanding his research
to include nanomaterial applications in the oil and gas industry and new material technology for
product development and commercialization.
